MEASURING UP

Churches

Evidence of growth should be based on a spiritual (not material) increase.

Support or join another church activity or movement rather than duplicate.

Take risks with new ventures.

Know when something has served its purpose.

Protect the children and vulnerable. Care for them in a way that best suits their needs.

Christians

Foremost in every Christian is the desire for a deep relationship.

Should individually be responsible for the practice of their faith.

Truly feel that they represent a church when they make an impact.

The true Christian attitude is one of unity and humility.

Leadership

  • SHOULD
  • Teach love and lead in love.
  • Have a balance of spiritual men and women.
  • Receive a good standard of training.
  • Know when to step down

  • SHOULD NOT
  • Place burdens on people
  • Be reliant on one person
